B550 mainboards support all the features of the Ryzen processors of the third and fourth generation, especially the PCI Express standard in version 4.0 (PCIe 4.0). The ASUS Prime B550M-K is a micro ATX motherboard and has a PCI Express 4.0 slot with full x16 connection for graphics cards. The motherboard provides two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for additional expansion cards. The four RAM banks support up to 128 GB DDR4 RAM with a clock rate of up to 3200 megahertz and can even handle clock rates up to 4800 MHz via OC.
